SPS is a 100% foreign owned company that was incorporated on the 13th of March 2014. The company is owned by Slade Property Services (Asia) Pte Ltd (“SPS Asia”), a Singaporean private limited real estate advisory company. Both companies were founded by Hugo Slade, a British expatriate who has been operating in Yangon, Myanmar since April 2013.

SPS is a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors regulated firm. It is also the first company in Myanmar with multiple employees who are fully qualified members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and RICS Registered Valuers.

Qualified Accountant

We are seeking a fully qualified accountant to join our team and be a leader in our office. You will be responsible for all accounts, budgets, tax, salary, invoices and cash flow. Please read the full job description below to see if the position is suitable for you.

Job description
  • Complete full books for the year ready for external audit
  • Create budget reports
  • Be proactive in monitoring spending habits and trends
  • Has the ability to do full payroll
  • Can complete the full taxes for the year
  • Is very familiar with local government departments including stamp duty for contracts
  • Regularly updates themselves on Myanmar's changing systems in the accounting field
  • Must be a fully qualified accountant
  • Minimum 8 years experience working in a medium/large organisation
  • Must be able to self manage and complete work on time.
Skills and Competencies
  • Accounting Certification required CPA or equivalent - Experience will be consider also.
  • Must have previous experience at senior accountant level
  • Good Knowledge of accounting tools and Excel

Senior Residential Real Estate Agents

Job description
  • Support Agency Director as instructed including preparing relevant documentation, or any other tasks as instructed.
  • Manage a team of agents and ensure targets for sales are met.
  • Source both property listings and enquiries.
  • Daily cold calling to generate both listings and enquiries, (25 calls per day).
  • Handle enquiries from tenants, owners and buyers.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate options list for prospective tenants and buyers.
  • Assist Agency Director with the preparation of proposals and submissions.
  • Conduct property inspections with prospective tenants and buyers.
  • Conduct negotiations with all stakeholders with the aim of agreeing commercial terms.
  • Ensure all elements of the commercial negotiations are documented in writing and agency agreements are signed in accordance with Myanmar law.
  • Ensure both lessor and lessee are kept fully updated as to the status negotiations (in writing).
  • Undertake further inspections and attend meetings to consummate the deal as required.
  • Prepare all relevant lease or sales documentation as required.
  • Manage all negotiations to ensure the deal proceeds smoothly to completion.
  • Complete all invoicing and issue for payment. Chase up outstanding payments periodically.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings regularly and on time.
