SUPERSTRUCTURE DESIGN
For tenants taking multiple floors, the structure has been designed to allow private staircases connecting floors within the tenancy.
For tenants taking single or multiple floors the smart lift system allows the tenant complete access control to the tenancy.
SEISMIC DESIGN
The entire development is designed to international standards to ensure safety and business continuity in the event of natural disaster.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY
The building systems have been designed by international expert Indochine Engineering to comply with EDGE environmental certification to reduce energy consumption and thus drive down occupation costs. Passive systems include low emissivity glazing to minimize solar heating, maximize natural lightings and many others features allowing energy savings up to +20% more than an traditional building. In addition, a fully computerized building management system (BMS) optimizes the performance of all systems.

WELLNESS
With over 1,000 SQM of trees, open terraces and public areas, the site provides ample opportunities to enjoy shaded fresh air at any given time of the day or year.
VEHICLE MANAGEMENT
Yoma Central Project has a total of 8 vehicle access and egress points, this combined with internal traffic management means that the site can function irrespective of traffic conditions. A total of 1,250 parking spaces service Yoma Central with drop off at levels 1 and B1.
SELF-SUFFICIENCY
The energy center houses a 33kv substation dedicated only to Yoma Central Project and the adjacent Peninsula Hotel Yangon. The site is designed to be 100% functional using 6 diesel powered generators with 48hrs diesel tank reserve.
SECURITY
International security consultants Control Risks ensured that the design incorporates the latest thinking in security management, incorporating scalable passive and reactive security features to respond to a variety of threats levels.
FIRE SAFETY
The development was designed by international fire safety specialist Buro Happold to comply with Singapore Fire Code and ensure high levels of prevention, detection and suppression to allow safe occupation and structural integrity.
LIFTS PROVISION
Each tower has 8 x 24-person (1,800kg) passenger lifts, with peak intervals of under 30 sec (waiting time) for each office tower. Each tower is comprised of two zones, Low from 5 to 13 with 4 x 24-person passenger lifts and high from 13 to 22 with 4 x 24-person passenger lifts. Lift cabins are 2.5 M high, Titan Bronze with Stone Floors. Each tower has one Firemans lift and one Service lift with access to all floors, in accordance with Singapore Fire Code 2007.
